On January 28th, 2022, the Arvada Elks Lodge #2278 donated to two organizations that are very meaningful and helpful to the Arvada community and the Metro Denver Area.

 RALSTON HOUSE – Awarded $3500

Ralston House is a child advocacy center providing forensic interviews and victim advocacy to child victims of physical and sexual abuse and to child witnesses of violent crime (including homicide and domestic violence). Ralston House works with 18 municipalities and provides services to child victims in Adams, Broomfield, Jefferson and Gilpin counties, including the Arvada Police Department.

THE COMMUNITY TABLE – Awarded $2,000
Through various Community Table programs they strive to improve the quality of life for hungry families and children in our community. It is through unwavering support of the community that they have been able to provide food to those in need for more than three decades. Over the last 11 years the Arvada Elks #2278 have donated $30,000 to the Community Table and with that they have been able to provide over 90,000 meals.
It was with great honor to have the Arvada Elks #2278 Exalted Ruler Keith Butts present a check to the Community Table for $2,000 that came to us from the Elks National Foundation for the Spotlight Grant. Rocky Baldassare, Director of Food Programs for the Community Table, was there to accept the check.
