From lemonade stands to family races, your support has made a meaningful impact on the Jenson family’s mission and connection to the Elks community.
Dear Arvada Elks club,
On behalf of the Jenson family, I want to extend our thanks for your generous support. Ava and Austin really enjoyed operating their lemonade stand at the Elks Club. I cannot express how appreciative we are for that opportunity. Your generosity has enabled vital research in the pursuit of a cure for the rare disease affecting my children. Although Phenylketonuria is not life threatening, it does have a substantial impact on the way my children have to navigate life and their diet.
It should be known that Ava, Austin, and myself made the Elks Club proud and won the 2-mile family race on Saturday morning. Kim and Ava even took it one step further and completed a 24-mile bike ride on Sunday to support our cause.
Since a picture is worth a thousand words, I have attached some of the fun that was had during the Courage Classic bike race. My family has been very appreciative of your club and the connections we have been able to make. The Jenson family plans to be more involved in the club and give back to the community.
Ava and Austin would like you to know if there is ever a Junior Arvada Elks club membership opportunity, they will be the first members.
