The Elks have a long history of honoring those who served, and the Arvada Elks Lodge is proud to carry that tradition forward. Supporting veterans isn't just an occasional gesture for us, it's part of who we are as a Lodge and as members of a national organization built on gratitude, service, and community.

Each year, we honor military members and veterans by hosting our annual Veterans Day Lunch, bringing the community together in a show of gratitude and respect. Every month, the Lodge also supports the Military Order of the Purple Heart, standing behind those who have been wounded in service to our country.

Through fundraisers held throughout the year, our members come together to give back to those who gave so much. In 2025, the Lodge donated $10,000 to House of Warriors, helping support their mission to serve local veterans in need.

Our local efforts are part of something bigger. Through the Elks National Veterans Service Commission, Elks volunteers provide direct support to veterans in over 330 facilities every month nationwide, offering everything from emergency assistance to adaptive sports programs and outreach for veterans experiencing homelessness.
